Exceptionally Aged Collection
Exceptionally Aged 25YO
Deep & Complex
Distilled in 1999, the Mount Gay Exceptionally Aged 25YO represents a rare, quarter-century journey that captures the essence of Bajan craftsmanship. This special release is defined by its long-term maturation and the shared stewardship of three Master Blenders: Jerry Edwards, Allen Smith, and Trudiann Branker.
The aging process concluded in 2024, and the rum was carefully prepared for its January 2026 bottling. It stands as a profound testament to the distillery's generational craft and commitment to patience.
Presented at 47% ABV, this very limited expression gives aromas of vanilla, red fruits, rich caramel, citrus, and dark chocolate. The palate delivers an opulent journey of raisin, warm cinnamon, tangy citrus, smooth toffee, roasted nuts, orange zest, nutmeg, cocoa, and gingerbread, culminating in a long, silky finish.
With only 2,376 bottles available worldwide, this small-batch rum is a truly rare find. Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks to fully appreciate its unique complexity.

The Exceptionally Aged Collection is a profound tribute to the 320 years of heritage and to the generations of blenders before me who possessed the vision to lay down these incredible rums. With both the 15 and 25-year-old, we chose to honour that original vision by ageing them exclusively in ex-Bourbon casks, resulting in a desired intensity and complexity that beautifully matches the heritage we are so proud to carry.

Tasting Advice
Mount Gay Exceptionally Aged 25YO is best served neat or on the rocks. Excellent pairings include rich meats (roast duck, pork belly) with a sweet-and-spicy glaze, aged cheeses with a nutty profile, caramel/vanilla or fruit-based desserts (pineapple upside-down cake, fruit tarts, classic rum cakes).
